The Acworth Arts Alliance is a nonprofit formed to support the arts through education and exhibits at the Art House and in other venues and events in our community. The Art House hosts monthly receptions, offers various workshops and rotates new exhibits about every two months. The Art House is free and open to the public. Become a member!

“People, Places & Things” begins Saturday, March 8!
Now acceptiing submissions for our”Dreaming” Exhibit:
Submissions open to local artists who can hand deliver their work to the Art House. (Submissions accepted: Tuesday, February 18 until Tuesday, April 15) The idea behind the “Dreaming” Exhibit is to display and offer for sale artwork that tells a story in some way. It can be realistic, impressionistic, abstract- whatever you as the artist have created.
Two and Three Dimensional Works in any medium will be considered for this exhibit. Please submit up to four 2-dimensional pieces or up to six 3-dimensional pieces. Maximum size (inclusive of frame, if framed) to be considered is 18x24. All works submitted must be available for sale.
Delivery of works: Tuesday & Wednesday, May 6 & 7 , Noon-6pm. Pick-up of works at the end of the exhibit: Tuesday & Wednesday, August 5 & 6, Noon-6pm.
Receptions: Saturday, May 10, 4-7pm and Saturday, June 14, 4-7pm, No Reception in July.

Acworth Arts Alliance received $15,000 earmarked for youth arts programs from Genesis Inspiration Foundation and Krause Auto Group. In an August ceremony. Board members including Executive Director Cathy Green, Jeff Green, Tommy Allegood and Carol Allegood were in attendance along with Art House staffer Maria Starr. The event was celebrating the ribbon-cutting for the reopening of Genesis of Kennesaw.

Our mission
The Acworth Arts Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2017 to promote and support the advancement of art and artistic education in the greater Acworth community. The AAA strives to achieve advancement of art and its culture through educational programs and the display of diverse art from many local artists. See our bylaws for more information.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on membership fees, sponsors, donations, grants, class fees, fund-raisers and the help of dedicated volunteers. Check out information about memberships as well as our guidelines for submission of art. Join us for one of our monthly receptions held the first Saturday of each month from 4 to 7 p.m. and talk to our artists!
